O God please tell me
Why the terrible plight?
Aren’t we all Your children?
Why do You let us fight?
O God please tell me
Don’t You love us all?
There are many who die of hunger
Yet there are a few who have it all
O God please tell me
Why are there so many of You?
Each saying the same thing
With a different point of view?
It is sad that we are stupid
To think that You disagree with You
And go to even kill each other
To prove One right over the other You
O God please tell me
Why the deceit and so many lies
You let us trick and con and cheat
But isn’t it something that You despise?
Hey man, wait a minute
Are you kidding me?
What am I to blame for
Wasn’t it you who made me?
It is you who is weak
And can’t stand any bitter truth
You utterly fail as a human
And make Me a scapegoat?
I pity you O human
That you totally miss the point
You gave Me the rules to guide you
Yet it is I to disappoint?
So I pray to you O human
To just leave me alone
And I’m sure if you try hard enough
You’ll find God in your Soul
